I was gathering art together for a package I'm sending to Phee and Adam and found this that I had sketched in pen back in 2013, and decided to slap some color on it. This was back when I was kinda in a crazy head phase and was drawing heads giant and thinking they looked ok????
BUT ANYWAY
Neema and Ghost, finding each other again after a long time, and in some awkward circumstances. They are meeting for a drug deal. It's one of those situations where Ghost's usual heroin dealer was out, so his dealer knew someone who would always come through, called that friend who just said to meet somewhere at sometime and then suddenly they see each other and just yeah HOLY FUCK Neema you're the one with all the drugszzzzz!!
Then that leads to more of their story and their future, as Neema and Ghost immediately fall back to each other and Neema helps him get clean.

I love the expressions! you capture the clarity of a scene and an interaction really nicely. :D totally can read the "i haven't seen you in years" in atticus's face. Also I'm REALLY loving this new lining method you're doing, with the sketchy lines. It lends a lot of expressiveness and energy to works. I love all the red and black on neema, of course, and her eyeshadow really looks gorgeous especially for some reason. is there a bit of gradient and dot to it? Because it's great. and her liony-face!
