This is beautiful Thiz, and I like how this piece came to be. Poor guy; feeling down and that emotion created this to express your feelings. Surely you will come over and see us all soon.

I feel like that quite a bit too, man. Being far away from your dear friends sucks. But, don't worry man. No matter how far away your friends are out there, they'll always be in your heart. Besides, their actually might be that day where you get to actually meet us soon. Plus, you've got notes on FA and Skype and many other ways to contact your friends via the web.

True, for my main group of friends, I do chat with them often, so I technically don't go without hearing from them for long... but somedays it just sucks that I can't have any of them over to hang out in person.
If I have one goal in life right now though, it's to eventually meet up with some of them, so hopefully someday in the future I can indeed make that happen. Just hope it can happen sooner rather than later. XD

I really like this piece, Thiz. It's simple yet leaves behind an indelible, emotional impact. I'm very glad that you made the decision to post more clean content. That isn't to say that such art isn't good in its own right, but I'm glad to have gotten the chance to see a piece like this one here which can easily engage my emotions. It doesn't need to be purely somber when you think about the human desire, if not an innate need, for social connection. It just proves you're human and don't lack the capacity to love and value the lives of other people. Yes, this piece might be solemnly reflective, but it's still a beautiful piece. As much as I like your other work, I hope you continue to create more art in this vein. :)

If i'm totally honest, it's still likely gonna be rare that I post SFW stuff just yet (NSFW stuff ends up winning out most of the time, often it's too damn fun and appealing. XD) but that said, I do hope too in the future that I can come up with more SFW ideas from time to time. I'm also glad that in your view this piece has enough going for it to stand out on its own merit, and that it works in engaging and conveying emotions behind it, whether somber or otherwise. ^^

LOL! Well, I'm sure to be interested either way. I can see why it'd be more attractive to go the NSFW route. I would be lying if I said that I'd be upset if you posted more explicit images in lieu of clean art. You won't get a fight out of me if you did.

In any case, I'm just glad that it's possible to see more clean art from you in the future. It might be a rare occurrence, but at least you're not shutting the door on such a possibility.

Oh yeah, there's a lot going for it, dude. I like to engage my emotions, so this kind of art is truly appealing to me. I feel like this piece can easily convey a whole range of emotions. Some of them can even contradict each other, but that might ultimately depend on the beholder. I can see both a yearning for human connection and the presence of love for an absent friend. I don't know if that will always work in my favor, but I'm an optimist who tries to find good in everything even if it's not apparent at first glance. ^_^
