Made myself a new badge for Rocky Mountain Fur Con, to show off this new badge style! Painted in watercolor an black acrylic ink (with a splash of gouache for certain highlights), then meticulously cut out by hand. I sand the edges of the watercolor paper and then reapply the black ink to the edges so it looks nice and clean. Comes in a protective sleeve to prevent damage on this little watercolor original.
I'm taking pre-orders for these for RMFC right now! If you don't want the cut out version, you can still get the straight inked version for my original price. Check out my journal for more details!

This looks amazing! :D I really love the idea of all the openess in the design
My only suggestion would be laminating the original before putting in the sleeve 'cause those sleeves don't protect for crap XD Friends of mine have had to retire badges because the original art inside got ruined by food or water or what have you.

Laminating watercolor originals is actually not the best idea! The porous nature of the watercolor paper means lamination looks foggy, as it doesn't contact the paper all across the surface like with a smooth printer paper or a smooth bristol. That's why folks get the high res file, so they can choose to print and laminate a copy to wear at con if they wish!
