just happenstance, the screen door fell out of the door frame during the storm and afterward I was walking around and it caught the light and I though it looked really cool

that's what I was thinking, it was so bright, with the really dark backing like it can't decide if it's a star field or digital camouflage

...and indeed, one needs to keep and eye out for something, anything beautiful, even if small and seemingly mundane and unimportant. As there's so much ugly that's hard NOT to see all the time
