This is Gauze; my mutant reptile godzilla-looking OC. I wanted to keep most of his design similar to the previous pic of him but update him with my new style. Plus I didn't like how I designed the feet in the previous one too. I also decided to re-hash his story a little. It still involves him being human and a lab but I thought of adding a little twist ;P

A few years ago Gauze used to be a normal human working in his hometown as a military sergeant since his town had it's own military base. He was always fair and made sure that no one hated it that much that they would escape like it was a prison. However, he wouldn't be doing that for long since a group of scientists who were searching for ''special DNA'' happened to scan Gauze which turned out that he does have special DNA. Despite the scientists being a little shady to him, he decided to join them for their tests. The scientists took him to a secret lab in the desert part of the USA and sent him to the testing chambers. It turns out that these scientists were in fact corrupt and all the stuff they told him were lies. These scientists told Gauze that they wanted to use some blood samples to help their research in cancer. Turns out they wanted his DNA to turn him into the ultimate WMD.
The scientists planned on injecting him with a serum that would transform Gauze into a mindless, giant beast that was very able to brainwash in order to fulfill their demands. However, the serum was a prototype and was a 50:50 chance of success and fail. They then got all the scientists together to witness the ''birth of armageddon'' as they inject Gauze with this serum. Turns out that the serum worked...well, half worked. Gauze is now this 8 foot, 2 tonne hunk of reptile flesh and bone. That was what worked from the seum. What didn't work was the whole mindless thing. He still had his mind fully intact, and all he can think of is going WMD on those scientists behind the glass.
Gauze managed to break out of his testing chamber and started to beat every single person he can see. The armed security didn't stand a chance since the bullets would just ricochet off his thick skin. Once everyone was knocked out, Gauze messed up the security footage so no traces of him can be seen before he made his daring escape.
Once back at his hometown he was pretty stuck on what to do. He couldnt go back to his workplace because the scientists probably still know he works there and he couldn't go home because of the same reason. So he deciced to make his new home at an old, abandoned military base. Soon after he made his new home, he came across a few mutants who were needing a home themselves. Gauze didn't want them to fall into scientists hands since they might have the ''special DNA'' they're looking for. So Gauze decided to take them into his new home. A few years later with a few renovations, a new 20m high steel fence and some more mutants, Gauze's ''Mutant's Keep'' was finally up.
However, despite focusing on his fellow mutants. Gauze does not despise the human race. In fact, he still thinks that humanity is good but the corruption needs to die down a little. Which is why Gauze decided to be a crime-fighter in his spare time. He doesn't change his clothes or anything. He just goes outside and looks for any crime possible no matter how dangerous it is. He's really good at this whole superhero thing and has even worked up a good reputation for him. He's even got a sidekick to help him out with his duty (I'll give more details on that later ;P)

The serum didn't just effect his body, it also gave him some cool powers too. He can now shoot some sort of neon blue lazer breath. He only uses this when there's enough gas in his inner workings for it to work. So, you better stand back if you catch him downing soda. Another power he has is the ability to grow to huge sizes. The maximum size he can grow to is 75m which would still make him a macro. He only uses this power if he desperately needs too. Mostly to fight larger enemies or to give some foot fetishists a good work on his massive, booted feet.

Gauze can be really friendly at times, but other times he can become one grumpy, old reptile. He will moan at a lot of stuff and likes to argue about anything but he's usually like this when he's bored so as long as he's in a good mood he won't be doing any of those. He can get pissed very easily and he makes sure you know he's very pissed. Trust me, you'll know. But despite his angryness and grumpiness, he can be a friendly and a nice guy to hang out with. He is really considerate to his fellow mutants and always makes sure they're fair not left out. Gauze also likes to check up on things like the cooking, the training and the hunting. Lucky he gave Mike, Andy and Leonardo a home here ;P he loves to relax but he'll never relax on the job.
Despite his huge, buff and beastly looks, he is actually pretty soft if you push the right buttons. He will blush at compliments, he's got some soft, thick skin and he doesn't mind having a tea party (as long as you don't dress him up). He may be grumpy and angry at times, but push his buttons and you'll open up a real cutesy here X3 he's also really ticklish at the feet soles, armpits and nipples.

Gauze's skin is black with a dark grey underbelly, his claws are black, his back & tail spines are dark grey and his eyes are amber. He wears a black military vest, black fingerless gloves, black elbow & knee pads, silver dog tags, black camo pants with a black leather belt and black combat boots with dark grey soles and black laces.
