FLUFFY KITTY PILLOW

I keep looking at this and I can't for the life of me figure out how you put those colors together and made them work so well. I WENT to school for this, I SHOULD know my color theory, and yet... it's throwing all my schooling out the window and proverbially pissing all over it.

This is the reason that I dropped out; the rules were wrong and they sucked anyway. IT ALL MAKES SENSE NOW! :P

i have a weird knack for color theory. I have a hard time explaining it, but I'd dare to say it's my only real "talent". everything else regarding art I've had to work my ass off on practicing, but I've always been good with colors.

for the record i dropped out of art school too :x because everyone that was there was HUR HUR THIS IS MY INUYASHA FAN CHARACTER and were getting straight As without practicing anything of value like figure drawing and shit

Oh GOD D: My teachers would have smacked us STUPID if we did that; my drawing professor specifically forbade us from drawing "those cartoon animals - Pokemons or whatever", hahaha! The classes were really good, but what turned me off was that the only two tracks offered were "Illustration" and "Graphic Design"... I chose the latter because it dealt with computer art, and ended up being shoe-horned into Advertising classes. I'm AWESOME at Advertising. I just don't LIKE doing it. =\

Still thinking about going back; I only need to complete another year's worth of credits to get my BA. (Not that it's gonna do me a lot of good, BUT it'd be nice to have that piece of paper :P )

oh yeah, graphic design is basically going to school for advertising. It's not so much going to school for drawing as it's going to school to make things pretty, whether or not you actually can draw. :U (which you can. have you considered switching BAs?)

It looks so Cheshire-y. Normally blue + red make me RAAAGE for some reason (lol irrational) but with a cat between they look nice!
