.. has a glorious paintlery style to his art, pony or no. I mean, like, look at this AppleJack. Fluid, glowing, inviting... I just love it. When a friend pointed out his work, I was instantly hooked.

Now, I'm not much of a pony person. I haven't seen more than maybe one episode. But without a doubt, DJ/Vinyl Pony is my favorite. Largely because of her coloration, but also because of a certain cosplay I saw at NDK that I just couldn't stop staring at. This girl with one of those video-game-unreal body types, with a perfectly made outfit made to stylistically resemble DJ. Incredible costume, carried brilliantly, and with my favorite color scheme. Later I found out she was DJ, and DJ is all about the beat, rarely talks, and is just cool as hell. So .. without ever having seen a single episode at the time, Vinyl became my favorite MLP. Done. ;)
