I tried on me, but it's just blue, nothing freaky like with the harder UV sources. I think the wavelength on this thing is intended as a 'blood tracker' color. it turns blood into a very dark black contrasting a lot with grass. but I don't hunt, nor bleed if I can help it, so it's cool to see what other atoms and molecules in nature are excited by this wavelength
