During her adventures Root somehow finds herself stranded on a different world, a world quite differently from anything she's seen before with advanced technology and ships that can travel to the stars.

Lost in all of this she runs into a being resembling a treant from back home, hoping to learn more about this world she decides to speak to it.
Somehow I get the feeling she isn't going to learn much from this conversation..
