The night is dark and full of terrors.
An EF art show piece. This took foreeeever to paint and is only 6x8", done in watercolors. I've wanted to do a Melisandre from GOT (as an anthro, of course!) for a while, I just love her descriptions and that fire imagery. I had drawn her a couple years ago, but I didn't like that version much so never uploaded it. This one is based more on the book descriptions of her than the show (although the choker and hair somewhat is show-style). Decided to make her a pale leopardess!

You've done beautiful work before, but this is even better than that; and I didn't think that was possible. Just the way the colors come together, the contrasts, the designs, the way the fire is drawn, really everything about this picture comes together perfectly to create a masterpiece. I'm stunned. Very beautiful work, Shinigami, from an artist that always does beautiful work. <3
BlueParadox - Melisandre, amongst, her other deeds in the name of R'hllor, has very much f**ked up, especially with the Lightbringer glamor and, her skewed tellings.
