Just a little late night fun and play by a roadside traveller's inn...
I've been putting up so much naughty stuff lately, I thought a little change of pace would be in order. Every once in a while I'll do one of these all-out fully-detailed black and white pieces just to keep up on the techniques.
The centauress's name is Fiona, and I always intended to do some mainstream fantasy stories with her. But like with everything else, finding the time for it has always been a problem...

Not a fan of Taurs, but yet again I find myself drawn into a pic while on my quest to comment on any of your pics I can think of something for by the wonderful moonlit scenes and backdrop. The Hills and Trees are especially wonderful in this particular piece. They give a much better sense of 'where' when you look at the pic, which I really like.
Another personal fave of mine as well.
Would you believe this one was done over a period of a month or so during half-hour breaks at my old restaurant job? No matter how stressful the shift, sketching could always relax me.
If I had to do this one over, I think I would have added more solid shadows, to give better sense of depth and distance. I still think it came out pretty good, though.
