Is this the beginning, or the end? I dunno. It stands well by itself. Although I must confess that I'm intrigued with the idea of a Cyborg canimorph who reads like he had an interesting past. Kinda like the biographies of Spike Milligan's WW II experiences. He was that kind of writer who'd have me as the reader laughing with one paragraph, then chill me to the bone with the next.
