The Niles Historical and Cultural Center, 8970 N Milwaukee Ave, Niles, IL, is holding our annual Ice Cream Social on Saturday, August 8th, from 12Noon to 4PM. This is our big fundraising event for the year. The Society, as always, can use all the help we can manage! Niles is right outside (north) of Chicago.

If you live in the area, we'd love for you to come out and help!

Fursuiters helping out will be doing 'sign spinning' (waving signs and attracting attention from passing motorists), posing for photo ops, and being 'generally entertaining,' as suiters are apt to to. While it is a small location and handlers are generally not needed, non-suiting furs are welcome to assist, either helping the suiters or assisting the Society staff.

Ice cream is from Meijers, and the INCREDIBLE PIE is from Bakers Square. If you come to help, you get both as freebie!

ALSO, Ruthie Jager Miss Illinois 2015 (from Oswego IL), will be there. She is a great person!! She works with kids and would LOVE meeting furries who do like-wise.
