Yah, it stayed across the road. Took the CDF, DFD and SRFD 6 hours to fully douse it. The very next day a fire erupted in the same general area around 6pm.

trails of smoke like this are such a common sight around here... people burning off grass and such... specially durring harvest time peole drop the swathes behind the combine and then burn them off... dont even think nothing of it no more..
some nights you see the glow of the fires all night long in the distance..

but it was pretty smokey a lil while ago though with all the foreset fires up north though.. was actually starting to sorta block the sun out for a while there..
