Of all the bars, clubs and eateries in the college town of Felton, MA, one of the "Worst Kept Secrets" is the Lions' Den Bar. Housed in a two story building (three, if one counts the basement) co-owned by business (and life) partners Johann Strecker and Bill Burgess, the ground floor consists of an upscale bar with reasonably nice, modern aesthetic. Found a couple of blocks from the river front, it's midway between the more fashionable districts of the city and the working class areas, making it something of a cozy melting pot for many locals. The bar itself is quite nice, clean and neatly organized, staffed frequently by either one of several rotating bartenders or by one of the co-owners, Mr. Strecker. They serve a fine selection of beer, wine and other drinks, mostly specializing in imports and local brews.
The other two floors? Well, the second floor is actually the owners' private residence. The basement - well, that's the actual "secret" of the Lions' Den. Only accessible through the fenced in back alley and the backdoor to the building, monitored through security cameras, with a bouncer posted at the bottom the stairwell the door leads to, or through an equally well guarded tunnel from the waterfront that most people don't know about. At least, not most humans.
What lay beneath the establishment is the Den itself, the favorite bar of most of Felton's supernatural community. Dark, cozy and more traditional, it has all the aesthetics of a comfortable country pub. Much larger than the bar above, it caters to a bigger crowd, with a considerably wider and more exotic assortment of drinks and goods on sale. This side of things is, more often than not, manned by the Lions' Den's other co-owner, Bill Burgess. Bill is a more down to Earth sort, and quite comfortable with tending the rowdier, dirtier side of things. In fact, he prefers it.
Both bars open in the late afternoon, and normally stay open until the early morning, predawn hours. Usually, the closing hours see Johann down in the underground establishment, enjoying the quiet of the larger bar as his husband tidies things up. They talk about events on the separate sides of the bar over the evening, go over business matters... Or just share a drink and make plans for what they'll be doing in before they go to bed for the day...

Aosii, one of the earliest pieces of Bill and Johann to be created. It took a while to get it, but I don't have any complaints; the boys look fairly nice, afterall.
