Sup guys! D-Tail here with some more (NEW) poetry goodness. =3
This time, I decided to go with an existing form of poetry, the HAIKU.
For those unfamiliar with this poem format or background: it's a Japanese style poem, but English haiku have different rules. The main rule being that there are:
1.) 3 lines
2.) each line has a set # of syllables
3.) (line 1) = 5, (line 2) = 7, (line 3) = 5 again
It's a really neat style of poetry, but I couldn't just settle for one haiku; so, I took it to another level and wrote a 7 stanza poem with each stanza being a haiku.
ALSO, there's a hidden word in the poem that has relevance to the poem itself (it's vertically bolded) lol! I seem to like having my poems spell out a word, so I've decided to call that "word mapping." x3 (get used to it, I'll be doing it a lot)
Anyhoo, I hope you guys enjoy this one. It's new to me, but I LURVE how it came out! =D
