This is a reference for example of common configurations that one of my two fursonas )the tentacle monster one, not the hyena one) will add to the host.
It is divided into several sections, and the locations of where the part can go are shown using coloured balls and highlighted areas on the example host on the bottom left. The descriptions of each are ordered from top left to right, row by row.
First section is arms. These (with the exception for the top two) can either go at the elbow joint or at the joint for the hand.
-Long exoskeletal fingers based around the wrist that go around the hand, number and orientation of the fingers can vary
-Spine mounted to the wrist, can be used as a blade or injection tool
-Several long tentacles
-A squid
-A crab claw, can vary on shape and proportions
-A tentacle, often with bone plates along its top side in a armored spine.
Second section is for legs, which on a humanoid at mounted to the shoulder blades. In the case of all of these except the wings a webbed membrane can be stretched between each set of limbs.
-Blade mounted on several exoskeletal segments
-Big tentacles
-Bug wings
-Long and thin spider legs, varies in number
-Crab legs, only used on queen body
Third section is tongues. these go in the mouth hole.
Fourth section at the bottom right is the more common bodies. These can act on their own or have an anthro body fixed into them. The legs of the one inside aren't removed, instead they fit inside them bending at the knees along with the curve of the body.
-Left is Centipede body, number of segments vary, but never less then 12. On each leg mounting point there is either a single tentacle on each side or a single spider leg (see above) Legs are not required as it can move like a snake
-Right is queen body. The legs are the set of 6 crab legs with webbing between, a mass of tentacles, or the long spider legs with them it will stand up tall and the abdomen will bend down to face the ground
