
i thought i would upload this.. back in June there was quite a few forest fires up in northern Canada.. As you can see from the photo it got pretty smokey where i lived few hours south as well it cared down into the States..
It looked smokey and it smelt smokey, and it was thick enough it partly blocked the sun out, as well completely blocked the sunset out..

Whoa ... remind me of the forest fire we've got in the north of Québec in 95 ... it was so big and dense that we've got also so smoke in Québec city and the smell of smoke was also everywhere ... but not to that point yours is more dense and darker ... just curious ... what hours was it when you took that snapshot ?
Forget but about mid day.. it looked like that from morning till night...
Morning and evening got a little more dense from the cooling and smoke settling..
You seen the other pic.. evening it reduced visibility half what in this pic
