The youngest (at least at this time) Man-Eaters Anonymous member, Martha "Mar" Talbot is a known troublemaker in the Felton Underground. Since her early teens, she's had a reputation for stirring up trouble: Getting into fights with the local Ghasts, savaging assholes and dragging them to the Dreamlands to never be seen again, bringing chaos through to the Waking World and Dreamlands as she crosses back and forth between the two planes of existence, among other incidents.

She's trying to do better, and admits that she has impulse problems - and problems with her temper. She knows most of her aggression issues are due to the clash in her heritages - her father is human, and her mother is a Tcho-Tcho - and trying to consolidate the very different expectations of her parents, who want her to live a normal (as normal as a genetic need to consume human flesh to stay alive and maintain a stable human appearance allows, anyway), and her mother's family, who want her to take on the roles of a Tcho-Tcho sorceress and hunter. It's a lot of pressure on her shoulders - and sometimes she makes bad choices in how to de-stress. Choices that usually end in a corpse in some ill-travelled part of the Dreamlands.

That's part of why she's in M.E.A. - to find and work out her personal problems in more constructive means, and to have people she feels she can talk to about these issues… Somewhere that she feels comfortable just being Mar: A young woman with a love of exploring the two worlds she's a part of, and capturing the beauty, wonder, and, sometimes, terror of them in photographs and paintings. A young woman who loves to experiment with new looks and styles (when you're completely hairless, the wig possibilities are endless). A person who wants to try and understand herself and her capabilities, without having to deal with meeting or exceeding others' goals… And a girl who just loves the occasional scrap or to plan magnificent, mostly good-natured mischief for her friends.

This wonderful headshot is from the ever awesome  KawaiiJumi, and I think she did a spectacular job with Mar. She actually did a lot more with her than I anticipated, really - she did both a wig-wearing and bald version of Mar when I told her to surprise me on whether she'd do one or the other, and she went back and made little tweaks here and there to make her style fit. Kawaii always goes above and beyond when she can, and I really appreciate the work she put in. ^_^ Hope you all like it too.
