Herein is a commission done by  VanitasLavenderWolf of my European Hornet character Celine, who has earned a reference sheet within this commission.

I am overwhelmingly pleased with how this came out and not only that, but it brings me great pleasure to see one of my favorite characters attain her own reference sheet.

Couple things to note about Celine:

Her cheeks are literally like hornet mandibles. When she speaks normally, they are tucked in and cannot be seen from the top or sides unless she makes them viewable. When she does open her mouth wide, her mandibles slide open to make them more obvious and apparent in her mouth structure, essentially giving her four points of contact on her mouth. The majority of the time, she utilizes her human-like mouth, and for all intents and purposes, this is the mouth she is known to have. Only a few handful of individuals know about her mandibles.

Her coloration is based very strongly upon the actual European Hornet, hence the coloration design choices. This is also in line with the markings upon her abdomen.

Celine's personality can be summed up like such.

-She is confident and intelligent. She knows and understands who and what she is, and does not appreciate others trying to tell her who she is.
-She is patient and understanding of the tendencies of others. She knows that everyone is different, and even if they seem to act strangely, she is patient with everyone until further notice. She's not one to pop a temper easily, but she can do so.
-She is opportunistic, yet also open-minded. She is willing to listen to the ideas of others on top of expressing her own. Collaboration is something she extensively enjoys, yet she is exceptionally comfortable making split-second decisions and working at her own pace of things.
Her favorite color is orange, and she adores fire-related motiffs.

She is a complex individual though. One cannot assume that she'll always be confident or opportunistic. She has her moments of uncertainty.
