Built in 1925 by Baldwin Locomotive Works for the Caddo & Choctaw logging railroad. By the 1960's the locomotive had made its way to the Reader Railroad in Arkansas where it worked on one of the last bastions of revenue freight powered by steam. In the 1980's it was moved to the Hartwell Railroad in Georgia where it was used to pull tourist trains. In 1989 it was purchased by the Central Kentucky chapter of the NRHS who brought it to Paris, Kentucky where it operated on tourist trains over the TTI Railroad.
When TTI was purchased by CSX in 1993 the excursion trains were discontinued. The locomotive was placed on a disused siding and left to rot for 17 years. In 2010 the locomotive was under serious threat of being scrapped and was moved by R.J. Corman to this static display at the Riney-B Park in Nicholasville, Kentucky.
The locomotive is beginning to show signs of neglect again after an initial clean up and painting when it was installed in the park. The paint is already starting to peel in places. The L&N wooden caboose also on display is beginning to severally deteriorate and has a lot of vandal damage including broken windows and one of the doors being kicked in. Jessemine County doesn't seem interested in spending much money on the old girl.
