BIO:
Stella Starlight is a unicorn born 300 years after Starfleet made first contact with Equii sometime in the 26th century. She is the offspring of two unicorn scientists, named Solar Eclipse and Milkyway, who specialized in astrophysics. Highly intelligent and curious about the world, Stella was 8 years old when she discovered her cutie mark & special talent for science, engineering, and exploration after visiting a planetarium and learning about other solar systems. Once she was old enough, she immediately enrolled in Starfleet Academy, where she took classes to be an engineer and science officer. She also took classes in temporal science and history in case of being assigned to StarFleet's Temporal Integrity Commission.
By the time she graduated, Stella's first assignment was the Axalon, where she started as an Ensign in the crew's science & engineering teams. After being promoted to Lieutenant, Stella became a full bridge officer, joining Team Sakara as part of the Senior Staff.
As a unicorn, Stella's magical talents include shape-shifting, able to take on anthro and human form - meaning she doesn't need a magic mirror to look like one of the students from Canterlot High. She can also use her magic to shape shift into a griffin or even a small dragon. Her other magic abilities including cloud-walking & hovering, and teleportation.
Personality wise, Stella is kind and cheerful, and a pony most people can get along with, although her constant techno babel on things that interest her tends to make her annoying. She also has problems getting along with Kitana playing jokes on her, since she was always picked on when she was a filly. When she started her Starfleet career, she was always going "by-the-book" when it came to procedures and missions, but since joining the bridge crew has learned to loosen up and be flexible when facing different situations.
She is the Magic Leader of Team Sakara and is also an Elemental, able to control earth, metal, and even lava, making her a valued member of the team.

Like Rika & Kitana, Stella's new uniform is a bolero jacket with suit and boots. Unlike the rest of Team Sakara who have ceremonial daggers, Stella can create her own daggers with magic.
Also, as you can see, I gave her design a more anime style while still being in the realm of Friendship is Magic.
