Wow, you sure got my birthday surprises beat... all I did was attach long piece of scotch tape horizontally over my roomate's door frame, so that when he woke up in the morning and grumbled out of his room... AUAUGH!!
Seriously, no one expects these things any more... we need to scare them more... y'know, make it so that people are generally paranoid and neurotic on their birthdays.
