Sender is a doggie who came ill equipped to handle the
heavy UVs of the Arizona sun.

His skin is pink around his ears and nose, and especially
around his right eye. I can schlock the sunblock all over his
face, but getting that stuff on his eyelid is a challenge.

Enter Doggles.

I bought these babies thinking they had a snowball's
chance in hell of actually being worn.
Sender is a...high energy dog, and I thought he'd shuck his
new eye-wear into the lake post haste.

It was with much apprehension that I held him still,
(no easy task) slipped the Doggles over his muzzle,
and watched in amazement as he peered at me through
the dark lenses. I could see the wheels working in his brain
as he opened his eyes wide and relaxed.
Success!

I suspect that he has very sensitive eyes, and the blazing sun
must have caused him to squint like crazy.
His new shades gave him the ability to see with greater clarity
and comfort, and to look cool doing it.

So I was lucky enough to cruise the river all day with the
coolest pup on the water.
He sat up on the backseat, ears flopping in the wind,
giving a discreet nod to other boaters and looking like
something out of a Disney movie.

Life with this dog gets more interesting every day, and he's
full of surprises.

And mischief.

I guess he thought my old Oakleys weren't as cool as his
Doggles, so he ate them.

Dog logic.

Can't argue with results!
