Just a little something I wanted to draw for my friend because she’s been having a really rough summer. I know this won’t really help or anything, but I hope that she'll like it anyways!

By extension, this is also dedicated to anyone else who is currently fighting through their own endeavours in life.

Artist’s note: I just did this quick and in one sitting, just something sketchy and expressive. I intended it to look rough and messy for the sake of portraying a struggle. Bleak tones to portray feeling trapped, as well as including a light that cuts through the dark place.
