In the weeks that Lauren had been trapped in the Pangean Prison, he knew that nearly everyone in here had been sent here to keep them out of the way. Almost none of the inmates had committed a genuine crime. Transformed against their will into a dinosaur species of the opposite gender, they were forced to carry out hard labor while the mammal guards watched from above.
Anywhere they could potentially escape the floors were designed so their increased weight would drop them down below to where they could be disciplined with no doubt as to their guilt at attempting escape.
Despite this, Lauren had found a way to get their original DNA back and escape. It would not be easy, it would require the cooperation of almost the entire prison population, but they could do it. Lauren had met Megan, who was also trapped in a male dinosaur form, and the two of them had successfully found out where their original DNA was stored, and how they could get free with their original forms.
All they would need was a moment when the guards were complacent...

Oh, no, we're transformees. They count on our larger mass preventing our own escape. All the ramps and bridges can't take our weight, so unless we're changed back we fall into areas they can hold us for attempting escape. ;)
Though Lauren will probably keep her dino form upon escape. ;)

It was a while ago, the image took a while to complete, but it was well worth the wait. ;) I've got an idea for the next pic like this I might do. We'll see. :)
I agree, and yes, Procene is a lady dino. :) The prison figures by changing our species and gender, they'll make us less willing to attempt escape and be stuck like this. ;)

Ooh, I was just wondering about this piece a couple of days ago, and here it is! It looks fantastic, too! It's kind of odd to see Megan as a boy, but she, er, he does look pretty cool as a parasaurolophus (poor thing!), and the others look really neat as dinosaurs as well. I have to say, they make those orange jumpsuits look pretty good, too! The whole idea is a pretty neat one, too. You do come up with such lovely transformation stories!
Thanks so much for letting me snag a spot in this!

It took longer than I'd thought, but I think it was well worth the wait. Of course I kept on top of it and checked to make sure progress was occurring, and I kept ya'll in the loop as best I could. ;)
I'm glad you're happy with it, and I think we make some awesome dinosaurs. ;) Though Megan isn't often a guy, she makes a cute one. :) We might have to revisit this theme sometime in the future. :)
The idea just seemed like an interesting way to create a story behind the transformations. ;) Not only are we in prison, but they're using the TF's to keep us here both as a physical and mental barrier. ;) We don't want to leave as dinosaurs, but we can't leave with our larger mass..... ;)
Thanks for joining in!

Well, there are many good reasons to stay a dinosaur. It is hard to know where to begin! But to name just three most excellent reasons (and I can cite many more), we have:
1. No more shedding fur everywhere and leaving a mess to cleanup every day! That's right, when you have a scaly hide you don't need to worry about shedding all the time, and what shedding of scales you might do will be in large sections that can be easily disposed or recycled and even that only every few years.
2. We have wonderfully big tails that give us several advantages. We have much better balance and can bend over for longer periods of time as needed (and with far fewer knee problems that digitgrade mammals suffer). And they serve as a devastating weapon when facing one or many opponents!
3. We are well suited to life in the tropics as well as the desert so if you like warmth now you'll love warmth as a dinosaur! No more incessant panting and drooling for you when you're a dinosaur!
And if that's not enough to convince you I can keep on going. *beak grins!*

Showering is a cinch. You only need one kind of soap for your scales and that's it! And you won't even need to shower every day either (unless you want to)!
The tail is also a popular place for self-decoration, from scale painting to tail bands.
We aren't cold-blooded so you don't NEED a sunning rock, but we do certainly enjoy them. We have a very different idea of siesta time than do mammals.

You know, I'm thinking since I haven't worked on the felitaur story in a while I might reedit the part I've finished already and change it to dinos to give me an excuse to use my two dinosaur characters. I must admit I still don't quite jive with taurs, but I have picked up a recent interest in dinosaurs...
Yeah, I know I did like them back in the day, but I just can't really get it to mesh anymore, not quite... Though I am keeping my felitaur form as Whiskey, and no longer a chakat. ;P
It's all your fault. I'm now really enjoying my dinosaur form and my other dino girl, not to mention I've added a few rat characters because of you. ;)

Everything built for a taur has to have tons of open space; and can you imagine how much food they'd require? Yikes!
Awww! I know about keeping secrets for stories. With Metamor Keep I've held a ton of things back, but other stuff I'm just so eager to share I have to tell somebody about them!

Not just a lot of things; practically everything!! I did use my taur form in Metamor Keep to good advantage though. While they were on a long journey, he stayed in his taur form while they trekked through the mountains to serve both as "pack animal" and to gain better traction and mobility on some of the slopes.
I'm not sure what the fastest way to build a quality fanbase is, but I have tried to write good stories that constantly surprise folks. Fa doesn't seem to be the best place to share them though as I almost never received any comments for my work here. So instead I just post the pictures from the setting and link people to the stories elsewhere.

I can see it move in my head. That's why I have a hard time writing taurs. You can't dance or fight like a biped, and they're not really suited for quadrupedal fighting either....
I'm hoping I can figure it out, and get a good artist to do a cover for me. I have a few names on my short list.

I've seen some nice quadrupedal dancing in the original oliver and company from Disney. ;)
Ideally I'd like to try and get
sabretoothedermine or

Nice work, if they are to continue, put serious link with earlier part of the story:
