Now let me explain a bit more about Wind Saber. She is born in a timeline that is 100 years after the death of Rarity. See the DA Comic Crazy Future by Vavacung (I'll leave a link to the comic at the end). Many a pony has now been born with unique talents, new magic has been discovered and Tartartus... Well the Gates themselves have developed a strange habit of moving. So The 4 princess banded together and formed a special group of ponies called the Tartarus Guardians.

These guardians are charged with wandering the land, in pursuit of the Gates of Tartarus and drive back any creature that should get past Cerberus. They would do this by using a special sword fashioned from Harmony Crystal. This sword was otherwise known as the Harmonic Edge and was past down through the generations of Guardians.

Now here is where Wind Saber comes in. Wind Saber is in fact the 123rd guardian and current holder of the Harmonic Edge. She is likely the only other Earth Pony known to also be born with human hands. This is due to her Father being a Non-Equestrian. Many a mystery surround her father but this does not deter WS from carrying out her duty.

Along her travels she passed through a village belonging to a Zebra tribe. She had heard quite a few stories about the wonders these magicless equines could do and after having saved the same village from disaster the Tribe leader fashioned a special pair of gloves that, as long as they stayed on, would turn her human hands into regular pony hooves. A gift she happily accepted.

To this day Wind Saber still continues to roam the land, protecting Equestria and all her cities.
