Backstory: Originally created thousands of years ago by a long extinct civilization as a living weapon, Vulan is the only known surviving and sentient Dramatis Personae. Found by Faustus dig teams at an excavation site in a damaged state in the 90s, the inert DP was brought to scientist Nanette 'Noir' blanc, who spent years studying its secrets until one day, it activated enough for the repair nanites working on it to become controlled by its inherent AI, forming themselves into an odd, tall, jester like humanoid identifying herself as V.U.L.A.N, Variable Utility Lightning Assault Nanoroid, an ancient technorganic sentient weapon. However, the AI had been partially fragmented by the damage and the original programming locked away, giving her a childish and friendly personality. Noir spent time with her and Vulan as she was just called saw her as a mother figure, befriending Noir's own daughter Jin.

Curious and adventurous, Vulan left Faustus and came across many peculiar new friends such as Li, and her best friend ever Rita. Not evil at all, she often disrupts Faustus schemes and her connection to Noir lets her roam around freely, only working for them as a security guard and test subject.

Vulan currently seeks out other Dramatis Personae artifacts, curious as to whether or not she has 'siblings', good or bad...
