This is a species I have been trying to put some time into and I am really enjoying them! So here is the general info I have on the sheet so far:

Name: Brinekith (or "Kith" for short) The Ocean Guardians
Gen Info:
-Fay and Imp Breeds.
-They continue growing as they age but as they hit the maturity age they grow at a substancially slower speed (some elders can be 30-40 feet long!) though they dont age like other species, they pretty much always look young.
-They are pretty much ageless creature but old ones are kinda rare because different factions have wars (faction system to be discused at a later date).
-They are highly intelligent.
-They can be male, female, genderneutral and have any kind of sexuality (It is a personal choice) any kind of biological gender can reproduce with any other and both Fay and Imp can interbreed but the offspring is one or the other.
-They have three sets of gills on the sides of their bodies.
-Either breed can occupations of any kind but they are usually more physically suitable to certain work types.
-They can speak human languages as well as have their own "whale-tune" language that is very complex with melody and clicks.
-They can shrink down into their mini forms which helps to get into small places but it also makes them appear more goat-like, for the more hostile factions and Imps it is a way to sneak into strongholds and hold sabotage missions.
Fays:
-Mature at about 10 feet long
-Longer snouts
-Mermaid-like tail
-Normally brighter colors
-Backwards facing, more docile appearing horns
-Small and dull hand "hooves" 4 altogether
-Tend to have more economic occupations (crafting, trading, farming, politics, etc.)
-Normally magic attack based staffs/tolms/tridents/spears (or healing)
-Up/Down swimming style
Imps:
-Mature at about 6 feet long
-Shark-like tails
-Normally duller colors but can be vivid
-Fanged
-Shorter snouts
-Forwards facing horns, more intimidating look
-Sharp and Long hand hooves
-Tendto be active in physical occupations (adventure, law enforcement, sabotage, heavy lifting, bulding,etc.)
-Normally physical attack based swords/knives (or defence/tank/stealth/trappers)
-Smaller but tougher
-Side to side swimming style
