Nobody ever heard from Abigale ever again. Her parents, confused at her disappearance and with only the mentioning of a "job" to go by, found no help at the hospital.
"No," The pale, and oddly-dressed doctor curtly informed them, "We've never seen anyone fitting your daughter's description ever working here. Isn't that right, Jayana?"
His gaze was fixed upon the lovely secretary, her cheek nicked with a small scratch that most certainly must have come about from carelessness.
"Y-yes... that's right doctor. I'm sorry, but we simply... haven't seen her."
"Now if you'll excuse me, I have much work to do." With a turn and a click of the door, the tall, gaunt man was gone, leaving Sayana to timidly lead the worried parents out while he returned to his... work.
