It wasn't very resident to the naked eye, with the exception of street lights that you can see. The blue tint in the sky was red ambient light pollution with a tungsten white balance.

Nice nice nice, the bit of noise is fine.... just..uh, it's grain!, yea, thats it >!> shhhhhh lol

I love 2 things particularly about this shot

1) 12mm, wide pride, baby I'm the same way... right now all I've got is an 18...whatever, I am buying a 10-20 soon YAY.

2) The pinwheeling of the stars, holy...shit....nice, epic angle for that effect, great work.

Thanks! I've been trying to shoot more star trails here, but the neighbors (understandably) don't want people running around near their back yards in the middle of the night.

Noisy? I've seen worse... much worse. And here, the composition and the contrast of warm colours against the cold night sky work very well indeed.
