As many of you know, the popular comic strip "Peanuts" has been in reruns now for almost a decade. And an all-new computer animated series of classic strips (made exclusively for iTunes) has been online now for over a month...

Back in December, 1999, artist/creator Charles M. Schulz announced that he was ending the run of "Peanuts". So, someone on the Internet decided to create a special webpage with numerous tributes to him from various fans around the world. I was among those who drew something appropriate for the occasion...

However, Mr. Schulz succumbed in February, 2000, within 24 hours of the publication of the very last original "Peanuts" strip. So, the tribute to his retirement became a memorial tribute instead. I'd recently found the original artwork I'd drawn for said tribute, which I thought I'd present to you. I hope you enjoy it, as much as you've enjoyed "Peanuts" over the years...
