Don't feel bad. I used this really nice fake fur to make myself a blanket and my cat seems to want to just lay on it.
I had to buy her her own yard of fur to go lay on to keep her away from my stuff!

Mine LOVE fur xD They have a blanket out in the living room that if fake fur, but they can't resist the 3-4 foot tall pile I have in my work room... but I can't blame them xD

The real reason they aren't aloud, is that they get in the closet and knock things over... and Midget(the fat tabby) eats foam *facepaw*

My tortie enjoys chewing on my pool noodles, licking the fur, rolling around in it and so forth, so I usually keep all my stuff in the closet or boxed up or something. Little brat. I turned the one pile of fur into a blanket though cause it was such pretty fur I bought from walmart and when i went to get more it wasn't there! So I bought some nice suede from DF and put that on the back of it (idea came from a furry blanket i bought from walmart actually)

I just got my cat some fur from mendels- super cuddles fur, hopefully she'll sit on that and not my blanket

It's just a spare bedroom with a huge pile of rolled fur, and little boxes of scraps... and at any given time there's either foam or fur fluff everywhere XD
