hello this is new. who are the Garudan is it a species palladium is adding to the universe? and as always awesome piece my friend :) now i wish i could get ya to do up a pic of Silky in some robotech armour! *giggles*

They made an appearance in the novels & comics. They were originally to be in the cartoon that bridged Macross & Southern Cross/New Generation.

Well, this was a sketch for an unused, sadly. And nah, sadly the Megazone 23 vehicle didn't make it into this one.. but hoo-boy, the vehicles that did...

Oh wow, I can't believe I missed this stuff!

I read in the sourcebook that the Garudans were getting cyclone armor, as well as the ability to become veritech pilots, but was pretty disappointed that no illustrations made it into the book. (I imagine there was some problems trying to come up with a design scheme to accomodate their tails into the armor) I always imagined that the Garudans, being that they had no advanced tech of their own, would eventually adopt the human armaments as one of their own and be able to play a part in the UEEF. Glad that might little head canon has made it's way to fruition somewhat in the series. ^^

Yeah, tragically, I didn't have the time... but here you can extrapolate what it'd look like. It'd have to be compatible with the cyclone gear and would have to make allotment for their physiology
