You know that's... not good for the Tiger Cub, right?

Why's that?

Taken from their mothers at a VERY young age. Tiger cubs can only be 'handled' for about 4 weeks of their life. after that they're either given away/given back to the 'breeders'/or possibly worse.

Taking a tiger cub away from their mother like that at a young age is a torment to both the mother and the cub. They can never be released back into the wild when 'broke' from their full natural instincts.

I suggest googling it and looking some stuff up.

CARE (the folks who brought this Tiger) deal exclusively in rescued animals. This tiger was almost certainly rescued from a breeder (like all the other tigers on CARE's website). If that's the case, he could never have been released into the wild.

I'd be worried about a tiger high five to the face. I can imagine some nasty claws on that kitty.

Funny you should say that. Last year, they had a bobcat cub (provided and supervised by CARE, just like the tiger).

When I picked him up, he reached up and latched onto my lower lip with his claws. Not enough to cause any real pain, but he was just being playful.

Awww. After seeing this picture, it feels strange to know that that creature will grow up to be a highly dangerous wild animal.

He's extremely strong already. Under that fur, there's nothing but muscle.
