This is a character of a species I created!

Royals are a unique species! They're both land and aquatic animals. They're similar to otters in a way given their short muzzles and slender figure. They have large ears for great hearing on land. In their ears they have little flaps that block out water. This also applies to their nostrils.
The gills around their sides allow the to breath with ease underwater. Their gills are made of very tough material, so when traveling on land they don't damage them.
Their tails can vary in sizes, however, they are usually long to help propel themselves through the water.
Their tongues are long and pointed to dig into clams and other shell critters.
All royals have a crown marking on them! The crowns are usually different in shape or colors. This helps each royal identify each other.
