Here's something crude and quick to be banished to the scrap folder. I drew this out like 4-5 months ago when I should have been working and tells the tale of when I had the idea to make a sort of series of comics based around Irish events and myths - starring sheep, natch.

Yep, as the legend goes the king of Ulster was found through a boat race where the winner had to be the first to touch the mainland. Naturally the guy who was crowned won by cutting his hand off halfway through and hurling it onto the beach, which is why the province's flag ended up being a red hand. Something only a sheep would think was a good idea.
