This is a continuation from the last post.
The primary villain of the campaign is a group that is trying to create artificial shifters, and doing it in ways that are... less than humane.
This guy is one of their few successful attempts - they keep him drugged out of his mind so that he won't turn on them, and they can easily deploy him to places they want wrecked.
He looks incredibly unhealthy, and probably coughs up blood regularly. Despite his gauntness, he's actually rather strong, though it's entirely possible his organs coudl give out at any second.
His shifted form is referred to as a "war form" because it's a giant, bestial abomination that combines the traits from several different animals, and when he shifts into it, he can't really control himself - he's an engine of rage and destruction that destroys until there's nothing left to destroy and he eventually shifts back.
The idea is that at some point, after fighting him a couple of times, he'll join the player's party - but at first will be too afraid to shift, because of what he knows that form is capable of.
I think my original idea is that the rest of the party would be put into some situation where he would need to help them, but be unable to in his human form, and the voice of the warbeast in his head saying "let me out, I can help them" will eventually push him to transform, help them, and gain some control over the warbeast.
As with the previous picture, I'd love to know what you think!
The top row is him still drugged out, and the bottom row is after he joins the team.
