Hey guys, friends, and fans!!!! Could really use your help :D
Here is the link: https://www.facebook.com/events/1388871934763121/
I promise I won't ask you to buy something or go too far out of your way. All I need you to do is follow a link, find this image, and "like" it please. I'm trying to win free entry to a really cool event and this art contest could really make it work for me.
Thank you so much in advance! I really appreciate it.
Here is the link of it's other existing places:
"Unity means quite a bit to me honestly. People like to say PLUR but I feel they sometimes don't understand the meaning of each bit of the acronym. When I hear the word unity, it brings up a series of images of bringing people together through the love of indifference. We don't care how you look or how you dress or what music you like. Unity means seeing the good in another being and welcoming them to be part of your world merely because every human being deserves to feel this way.
I remember my first rave. I was in my normal clothes, introverted and shy. i didn't know what to expect. But I remember that everyone treated me really nice and genuinely wanted me to have a good time even though I was just a stranger to them. I was welcomed in and I really felt the love that day.
The next time I went I was absolutely surrounded by friends and people who remembered me. They put colorful bracelets on my arm and invited me to talk with some really sweet people. I learned later how to PLURR and it was the beginning of my process of learning to come out of my shell.
I want everyone to feel the way I did. I want everyone to feel the same love and welcoming sensation that I was brought into.
Also the furry on the side meant a lot to me personally. I've been a furry for a LONG time and I really hid it well until I came to the rave scene. I met a lot of people like me and it taught me not to be so shy about it and to be proud of who I am. I'm a much more open person/ furry now and it made me who I am today. I wouldn't have my level of confidence if I never started raving.
Thank you Durty Dj's smile emoticon Thank you ravers. Thank you PLURR."
