The Bible's Old Testament has a gigantic list of which animals were considered to have unholy cooties, and were not allowed to be eaten, touched, or have their corpses handled. Basically, if it isn't a cow, goat, camel or human (minus menstruating humans, as they have unholy cooties too apparently), it is an unclean animal.

"Unholy Cooties" would make a great band name.
