Nishidor talks about Kamui's past
Oxxy wants Kamui to take his mask off
Kamui will take Oxnard's mask off first
Godot was the one that said, "All men wear masks - whether it be over their faces, or over their hearts." Loved the line. :3

Ah, Godot was such a source of brilliance and wisdom. He was part of the reason I adored that game the most out of the trilogy.
These are quite an interesting series of works, Nishi... I shall have to watch closely and see what further developments unfold. The colouring in this one is particularly intriguing, and I also applaud Kamui's choice in headgear.

Wow! I really like the concept behind this one, Oxnard. The way I interpret it really hits home for me. Particularly the interaction between Kamui and Oxxy.
It's kind of weird to say, but there are really those people who smile all the time, but aren't truly feeling it. It's like a horrid facad that hides a deep and rotting truth of how one truly feels. I actually have a friend who is like this EVERY DAY. He is so happy to go with the flow that everyone else does that he never lets anyone into who he REALLY is. Then, when people ask him about who he is, he gets extremely defensive and tries to do all he can to keep the mask up in order to avoid confronting the reality of coming to terms with himself. I don't know whether he fears being himself or doesn't know how to be himself. However, the point is, he is quite often what others what him to be and is convinced, by time, that he is only happy when he is making others happy whether it costs him his emotions or not.
On an even more personal level, I've gotten into fights with my sister over "Masks." It's because of these that I do not miss the company of my Real Life friends as much as I feel I should. This is because, based on who's around, I get guff and told to not do things that are naturally me. Over time, you develop a variety of masks to cope with such situations. However, truly, I am not a fan of wearing a mask and, frankly, I'm uncomfortable when I do so. At least with my wife, son, my wife's family, and her friends, I can be myself without the level of judgement I typically receive from my sister and a chunk of my RL friends I left behind 500 miles away when I pursued work in another state with my wife. Being mask-free is the way-to-be.
Sorry for going off on that tangeant, Oxnard. As I said, though, you really opened me up on this one. *Cush-Cush* *Cush-Cush*

Mask-free is the way-to-be! I like that a lot. :3
And I'm glad you could be open about all that to me! I like hearing about it, so don't worry about tangents or anything. (:
Hehe, there are so many different things about this that I'm not really sure about. I thought I did, but I guess I'm still sorting them out.
I guess some people are like that though - some will frown whether things are good or bad for them, or some will keep trying to smile even when things are at their worst. It's funny how there are so many different things people do! But I think I'm at least a bit familiar with the situation of the guy you mentioned, and I hope maybe that friend of yours can find a way to be what he is or wants to be - if he even wants to do that.
And I totally know what you mean with your own masks too. D: My sister kind of does the same thing to me sometimes too - but I don't think it's as bad as your situation sounds. In your case though, I'm glad you were able to find a way to be in a place with people who you can be more like yourself with. (: Everyone needs a place like that at some point, and I hope you can keep finding happiness there. (:
