DRIVER’S COURSE
<<< PREV | FIRST | NEXT >>>
Communications specialty course is over (yeah, not much specialization with just a month). I was assigned to become a truck driver and thus I’ll be having a driver’s course next to earn all the licences I need.
And…it’s odd. A batch of guys were assigned to do driver’s training when I started communication specialization course and I recalled we’d always look with some amusement at them and their dis-structured schedules, rich in idle time and without a hint of the rigidity of military timeplans. And now we get to share that experience. A strange contrast with the last three months that have been pretty much non-stop activity.
And pretty much noting of note happened. Pictured is pretty much only activity of note this week: equipment checks! A.k.a piling every bit of equipment, shovels, fire extinguishers and whatnot, a vehicle had in front of it, making an inventory of them and then shoving them all back.
Rinse-repeat with several dozen trucks and jeeps for several days.
Not an exciting week, but that’s okay. Excitement tends to come in the form of shitstorms here.
