A little something I've been wanting to do for a while. Throw in some arms and hands! An approach to POV that -hopefully- feels a bit more immersive.
If the image didn't do enough for you yet, hopefully this little attempt of a scenario written by yours truly works better!
Dragon hugs. Who could ever resist them?
Once you find yourself at the dragon's level, a low rumble eminates from him. For a while, Khael simple gazed and blinked slowly, regarding you with great curiousity. Heated air escapes his nostrils, huffing lightly over you, the scent of his body exotic and pure.
His muzzle is quite large, big enough to overwhelm you. As you reach out a hand, his ear flicked, the golden ring lightly bouncing in the after math. Canting his head, his nostrils flare open, inhaling and exhaling at your open palm. The heat is strong yet pleasant. A moment and slow blink later, Khael leans into your inviting hand.
Contact.
Warm strong hide presses flat into your palm, more heated air escaping in deep puffs. A low rowling sound eminates from the back of his throat, vibrating through your very hand. Soon enough, and hardly aware of it yourself, you find your other hand placed along his side, feeling the fine leathery breathing surface of his snout. A new kind of heat can be felt against your torso, as his jaws crack open, revealing his rows of sharp white fangs and glimpses of his innards.
His tongue feels hot and heavy as it simply curls out, slathering along your belly and chest at first, before finding your arm particulary interesting. The muscle smoothly coils around it, drenching you with his saliva on your bare skin. Khael's breath is unmistakingly raw and not exactly pleasant, but bearable. He rumbles in a rather comical fashion, giving a slight tug with his tongue, drawing you even closer to his snout, which rubs itself along your open palm still.
His deep green eyes blink once again, a rather playful look on his face, one that is telling you, that he's rather fond of you! One can only wonder why~

I like it!
I think it might be a little better if the human arms extended all the way to the bottom of the frame. I know that's a little tricky (should they get bigger as they approach the "viewer" or not?) but it might help prevent the sort of disembodied effect.
Also, some critters' arms have more melanin than others. Khael's slurps should be available to all. :)
