Speedpaints (3.5h): Silv!
Aaand another one down!
Silv let me do more testing on this new watercolor fakeout style on his absolutely GORGEOUS gryponh-y fellow! I'm such a sucker for sleek color schemes, and also, cobalt blues. Also also, blues and golds together. And head crests. And watercolors. And fluff.
I'm so thrilled to have gotten al this done! Cheers, enjoy, and as always, a huge thank you to all my amazing streaming company!

Yep! It's all using brushes from my Kylebrush/Kyle T. Webster brush packs, which are amazing and I eagerly recommend checking out if you're a fan of natural media type stuff in photoshop. They're far and away the most convincingly natural brushes I've ever used in the program, and a blast to play with.
Ahh I actually guessed that! I've tried one of his watercolor brush packs before (as well as a bunch of other brush packs) but either I'm a total derp or I'm just not getting my settings right, 'cause I haven't quite been able to get the hang of it. I do love his natural ink brushes though and use them a lot :3 Good stuff!
Honestly, it's been a lot of trial and error for me to figure out a fairly "right" looking natural equivalent too. If you do still have his watercolor pack in your accessible resources, I would recommend finding the "wamazing" brushes and screwing around with those predominantly? Those are what I think I did about 80% or more or this one with. They have some kind of delicious texturing to them and actually lighten back up again if you scrub over areas you've painted already without picking the stylus back up in the same way a waterlogged/wet brush will do? The other thing I had to make myself stick to (which was painful) was mostly working in super light/diluted colors towards the purer end of the spectrum and apply everything in gradual fake washes on multiply (both as a layer setting and brush setting too a lot of the time).
If there's anything else I can do to help advice-wise on this stuff, don't hesitate to hit me up! I love digital voodoo, and I'd really love to see what you did with it, too, since your natural media's really rocking already.

Ahh now there's a concept that I totally should've known that I derped hardcore over, putting the brush itself on multiply ;.; Thanks for the advice! Looked around on Kyle's website but couldn't find the wamazing brushes, though I'm tempted to buy his Megapack... and the Ultimate Real Watercolors. I'll have to see, but since I love working so much with the traditional media anyways I'm not sure how much I'd use their digital counterparts.
Anyways if I do have any intense artsy questions I'll definitely assign you as my Senpai XD

So sorry for dropping off of the face of the internet there!
I am so deeply in love with this that there are no words. I am ecstatic for this, and thank you so damn much for the bit of extra time for it. I really appreciate all that you do and please keep being an amazing person for the rest of your life! This is simply wonderful! I love it how he's floating along, comfortable for a change. He's a very depressed character, so for once in his life he deserves to be relaxed and happy. Thank you so much, Han!
