So I'm an MTG player. :P
Here's my main deck.
It's a pretty nice little Soldier deck that I like to call the Princess Guard.
Here's the decklist.
4x Boros Elite
3x Cloudshift
1x Brave the Sands
3x Burnished Hart
3x Oblivion Ring
2x Path of Bravery
2x Ajani, Caller of the Pride
1x Preeminent Captain
1x Spear of Heliod
1x Archetype of Courage
1x Safe Passage
1x Riot Control
1x Valor
1x Ajani Steadfast
2x Angel of Jubilation
2x Healer of the Pride
2x Archangel of Thune
2x Captain of the Watch
2x Elspeth, Sun's Champion
1x Disaster Radius
2x Mountain
22x Plains
The Boros Elite are always a nice first turn card.
The Cloudshift has a few different uses, just a couple uses include protection of creatures, untapping to block with, and getting multiple uses out of enter field effects.
The Brave the sands is in there for obvious reasons, it gives vigilance to everything and allows me to double up on blockers. So those chumpblocking tokens can pretty much just decide to block everything now. xD
The Burnished Harts are for mana fixing if needed. When not needed, I can always search out those two little Mountains just in case. lol
The Oblivion Rings are there because White deck and literally every white deck ever should be running at least a couple.
Path of Bravery is a nice addition to the deck, it allows for easy life gain especially early game, and when I have at least as much life as I started with, it doubles as a world buff.(Which is the idea that this deck is founded upon.)
Ajani, Caller of the Pride is one of the things that makes this deck deadly. With it's +1 things slowly become more and more potent. It's -3 is something that I really only use if it can change the game. And it's -8 is it's real use. xD I like to stack up my life and drop a fuckton of cats. NYA~ :3
Preeminent Captain is really useful for getting my Captain of the Watch out there early game. lol But if I have it I'll also drop some Boros Elites. The only problem is I don't get when attack declaration effects off the new creature.
Spear of Heliod for obvious reasons again. Again, this deck is founded on massing creatures and dropping world buffs. Spear does just that. But also give me a nice little after effect if something manages to hit me. xD
Archetype of Courage is really nice because it's a Soldier with a built in world buff, and without a hellacious mana cost. xD First Strike is always nice, but when ALL your creatures have First Strike, it's just painful.
Safe Passage is another White staple card. But I couldn't choose whether I wanted the total protection of that, or the added life gain of Riot Control. So I have both. lol
Valor is the most recent addition to the deck. I figure if I have to discard something it's nice, or if I really want/have to chump block with a real creature and not a token, it's ideal. Once he touches the graveyard, everything gets First Strike so it's really an amazing card. :3
Another Ajani! xD This deck has really made me take a liking to Ajani, even though I generally tend to gravitate towards the more... impulsive. But this Ajani is really nice even though he doesn't give +1s like the other does, he DOES give lifelink, so that's helpful. And when I get to his ultimate it's just nasty. You have to have a ton of creatures to get me down by much life at that point.
Angel of Jubilation is the first angel I dropped in here. Mostly because I have an unhealthy facination with these things. lol But she really helps out because world buffs. lol But I did realize later she contradicts my Burnished Hart, so I can't search for lands while she's on the board.
Healer of the Pride is another card that really makes this whole deck possible. It's really nice because if I have her on the board and play Captain, I don't just get 2 life for one creature but 8 life because I just got 4 creatures. lol And if I have Cloudshift in hand it's even worse, because if I hit Captain with it I get 3 more creatures because she entered the field again. So I get 4 more entries for Healer's ability. Meaning with just Healer and two other cards I gained 16 life. And if I have both Healers out I get even more. None of this is Hypothetical by the way, I've done ALL of this. There are even more nasty combos with this girl, but they involve things I haven't mentioned yet.
Archangel of Thune is one of those. lol Her ability is really nice. It gives +1 counters to EVERYTHING whenever I gain life. x3 If I have Healer on the board already then I already trigger her ability just by playing her. If I play Captain with Healer then I get a bunch of life AND a bunch of +1s on everything. Something else that I've discovered is since this creature has lifelink, it gives the +1s on a successful attack, but that's not the interesting part. The interesting part is if I give her Double Strike, like with Ajani, Caller of the Pride's second ability, then it gives everything +1s again, and the +1 from the first attack even affects the damage on the second one.
Captain of the Watch is obviously an immensely helpful card, but past the combos I've already stated, it's abilities it already has are amazingly helpful. This is really the card that formed the idea of this deck, world buffs and token spawners just kinda go hand in hand. And if you're a token spawner that GIVES a world buff? Well more power to ya. xD
Elspeth, is the third Planeswalker in the deck, and arguably the most powerful. Her +1 is just spawn more tokens, so she's already perfect for the deck. If that was the only ability she had, I'd still probably use her. xD But with her -3 as a kill all 4 or highers and her -7 being super world buff, I just HAD to get a couple for this. :3
Disaster Radius is the strangest addition to this deck. But I promise, it has it's place. I traded out a couple of the plains for mountains and put this in, 100% to combat Protection from White. Disaster Radius deals x damage to all creatures my opponent controls, and x is the mana cost of a revealed creature. So it's really powerful. Especially if I have Captain of the Watch in hand. lol
I'm still in the process of trading out Plains for promo Dragon's Maze Prerelease Plains.(Cause this is an important thing. xDDD)
Deck is mine and belongs to me and no one else. If you decide to use this deck please keep me in mind and don't take credit for this.
I also have a sideboard which I'll link here...
