Well, okay, the expression here seems more angry than defensive as the original story was going, but the idea was still the same, don't let the skilled swordsman attack.
Sorry, I didn't draw any lower for this one but I had already started another drawing on it before I thought better of it, and by then it was too late to just redo either of them.

After their sharing of knowledge, she probably knew the odds quite well, but also understood Victor and chose to appeal to his sense of honor and justice rather than suggest she was too powerful for him. which would only challenge him and make him fight harder. This seemed the better way to deescalate the situation.
