Been on a Star Wars kick lately, so naturally this happened lol Starkiller's lightsaber is my fav so I just used that for now.
Darth Lycus is unique in that he comes from a planet whos core is a giant crystal made up of the Force, thus the entire planet is basically a cosmic Force entity. Its life is all born through the Force itself and the sentient beings of the world possess a connection to the Force so strong and unique that their power is otherworldly and godly in scope, indeterminable even by the most renowned of Force users and scholars. However, the life on the planet is simple, peaceful and without true conflict.
The planet is largely inaccessible due to the atmosphere of the planet being completely composed of the flowing Force. Ships that try to entire the atmosphere are barraged with waves of the Force that tear it away until only dust remains. This atmosphere does not effect the planet's inhabitants due to their uncanny connection to the Force and the planet itself, thus none possess a desire to leave it, nor do they possess the means to leave. So then how did this young wolf get off the planet?
While the galaxy largely opted to simply leave the planet in peace, the Sith had a very different idea. They knew that if they could get their hands on even just one of the people of the planet and convert them to the dark side, their power would be unimaginable, so they opted to obtain a youngling so as to be able to have maximum mold room. Gathering the strongest of the Sith on a huge cruiser ship, backed by dozens of lesser Sith, they put their plan into motion. As their ship rocketed through the planet's atmosphere, every Sith aboard used as much power as they could to generate Force barriers around the ship. This was only effective temporarily as the planet eventually began to power through the formidable defenses. The ship began to be torn away and several Sith began to be killed off in the process. The most powerful of the Sith, Lord Andross, descended from the ship to the planet's surface, using personal Force defenses. Wasting no time, he quickly scoured the area, and as if fate has smiled on the dark lord, a youngling was found alone. A very rare species, a wolf, hardly ever seen before, the dark lord snatched up the child and quickly escaped the planet's fury. By the time the ship had left the planet's orbit, it was barely able to function at all and numerous numbers of Sith had been lost, only a handful remaining, mostly the more powerful ones.
The wolf cub's training began immediately and it was without love or mercy as to make the boy as hardened and immersed in the dark side as possible. Even at a young age, the boy's power was astonishing. Simply sitting in the middle of a room, numerous training droids would be crushed and compressed to the smallest of lumps of scrap and living trainers would be splattered all over the walls. Andross wasted no time securing both his personal control and safety through psychological means, making sure the boy grew to need nothing more than him. Only after this did he then teach the boy the art of the lightsaber. Largely a Force-reliant art, the boy took to it readily and became deadly swiftly, conquering all 7 styles within a few years, heavily preferring Form V's Shien and Form VII's Juyo with his own unique spin on them. He carries two lightsabers, but often only uses one. His most prominent Force power is Force lightning, mastery of which he has no equal. He incorporates it into most of his moves and maneuvers, can generate from any part of his body, and can even invoke raw lightning from the sky or seemingly out of thin air. More devastatingly, he is also more than capable of destroying entire worlds, having done so many times on Andross' bidding, these feats earning him such names as World-Eater and Silver Judge by populaces.
Unloving in any form, Andross allows Lycus no possessions other than his lightsabers and old rags posing as clothes. His living quarters is a deep, dark pit cell and he is rarely allowed sustenance, often having to use the Force to sustain himself. Even such things as sleep or even the privilege to bathe are only earned through trials one can only call twisted. He does not however speak or act out against this, as Andross has warped his mind to fit the mold. Telling him he is not a person, but a weapon and that none would care for a weapon that has destroyed worlds, Andross has the wolf believing that even being alive despite what he's done is something only he, his Master, would allow and that all others would wish for nothing more than his death. While this is primarily to keep firm control over the young Sith, it is also secretly a way to ensure his own safety out of an unadmitted fear of his powerful apprentice. The boy had demonstrated after sometime that his unparallelled connection to the Force allowed him to achieve such feats as growing back limbs, or even vital organs, even being able to survive decapitation, though none of this made him invulnerable and pain still registered fully, he would often revive writhing and screaming in blinding agony on the verge of mental and psychological collapse. Having realized early on that if the wolf wanted to, he could easily destroy the dark lord with a mere glance, he made sure that Lycus wanted nothing other than to do the dark lord's bidding and that without him, his existence would be empty and worse than death.
However, this all slowly began to unravel when the young 16 year old crossed paths with renowned Jedi Master James McCloud...
I'm sorry, I literally wrote an origin story again lol Just what happens though when I get into something, I invest a little too much time into the details X3; But I figure if you want to make it seem authentic, you gotta make it that way. Thanks for reading it!
