I always considered myself to be better in 3D then 2D when it comes to art. So I tried my hand in 3D modeling.
This is my 5th attempt to make a fox head, It has taken about 5 hours and a dozen crashes of the 3D modeling software I use [Blender] to make.
As you can see the model is far from done, I still have to do the following;
-model the nose
-add a jaw, teeth, and a tongue
-Rig the model for facial animations [this is so I can deform the model as needed to make the character express some emotion when animating] The only thing that is rigged in this model so far, are the eyes.
-add fur, [I tried adding fur earlier to this very model but my computer locked up]
I am still a long ways away from making 90 minute furry-themed animated movies, but I will get there eventually. Honestly the #1 thing holding me back is the lack of computing power I have access to.
I made this model on my laptop, but I do own a more powerful computer which is currently 8000km away from where I am.
