ohh yeah but I didn't give them any chicken they just got the spicey tomato rice.
they have eaten chicken before, (and cow and pig) but then again I've seen them leaping into the air hungerly trying to catch low flying sparrows (and seen them succeed on one occasion) there opinion is if it wasn't a memeber of our flock it all tastes delicous

She's so cute and they can really be a pest when eating outside. cats and a dogs a great at making puppy dog eyes to get a treat from your bowl but chickens do it to and that is so funny. Mind you a bossy chook won't bother she'll just march up and take what she wants.
I know our chickens love meat dishes of any kind. A friend of mine that took some of my young hens and a rooster buys mixed meat ends fro the store and spoils them with litle meaty tit bits. We both have small yards so there really isn't enough worms etc to keep them all happy.
I treat mine every so often with boxes of medium sized crickets, the chickens love a live food treat.
