Solarch : En nomme del Deus Solare, Lumen Sanctum, puisse nos eclare de ton lumen sacre en ce mond obscur. Por le Deus, les Ancients e nos!
English : In the name of the Sun God, Lumen Sanctum, may your light light our path in this world of darkness. For the God, the Ancients and us!
A wonderful picture of Sir Draselth, as a Warden, the title he had before some events that will soon be written.
With his holy sword, Radiance, in hand, he will be ready to bring the light in the darkness places.

There are many ways a cleric can get a sword. In Pathfinder, clerics receive proficiency with their deity's favourite weapon (in his case the Longsword). Otherwise you can take the martial weapon: Longsword feat. Also possible is to multiclass in a class that grants proficiency with the use of the weapon you want.
This can be applied for D&D 3.5 and Pathfinder, tho the Cleric in D&D 3.5 doesn't start with the deity favourite weapon by default (you can ask the GM) or you can look up for ways to give them the weapon you want, if you dig long enough in the other rules books :P
The inquisitor class is in Pathfinder.
For the multiclassing part works for both games. It's fine to take one level as another martial class (ie: Fighter, Ranger, Rogue) to start with additional martial skills, armours and/or HP when playing a spellcaster
